Since 1967,

Betty’s has been making customers feel like they’re at home.

Betty’s Restaurant is located in the quaint village of Chippawa and was purchased by the Miszk family in 1967. Betty’s became famous for its fish & chips and Trudy’s homemade pies, but was also known for its friendly, family service. The original restaurant had just 21 seats and with Trudy in the kitchen and Papa Joe out front, the reputation of Niagara’s finest home cooking quickly spread. As business grew so did the need to expandit was no longer just a place for the ‘locals’, but was also serving many of the tourists who would visit Niagara Falls and its regulars came from the entire Niagara Region and beyond.

Their son Joe and his family have continued the tradition and have operated the restaurant for many years now. More guests visit each year: whether they are a part of a tour group that is visiting the Falls, or are looking to celebrate a special family occasion like a birthday, an anniversary, or a wedding, Betty's is the place to go for all occasions.

Betty’s recently celebrated its 50th anniversary and now has a seating capacity of 500 people.  However, we are committed to continue our tradition of home cooking at reasonable prices, with the familiar faces of our friendly staff, some who have been with us for over 40 years.

Betty’s, Niagara’s family tradition since 1967.
